SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., August 25, 2016 – Aravo Solutions, a pioneering provider of Third-Party Risk and Compliance solutions, today announced the appointment of Kimberley Allan, a marketing executive with an established track record of driving growth in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) technology companies, as Chief Marketing Officer.
Reporting to the CEO, Mr. Michael Saracini, Ms. Allan will lead Aravo Solution’s global marketing initiatives including brand, corporate communications, digital marketing, thought leadership, demand generation and business development activities.
Ms. Allan brings more than a decade of marketing leadership experience in the GRC space, building brand recognition, thought-leadership and revenue-accelerating marketing programs at companies including Thomson Reuters (NYSE:TRI), SAI Global (ASX:SAI), the Global Association of Risk Professionals, Practical Law Company and Complinet. At Thomson Reuters, Ms. Allan was part of the senior leadership team that rapidly built the GRC and Risk Division from its inception and also helped launch Thomson Reuters’ Org ID KYC Managed Service. She led a global marketing team responsible for marketing communications, product marketing, marketing operations and customer insight, with their efforts being recognized with the award of Oracle’s Global Markies ‘Marketing Center of Excellence’ in 2013. In her tenure she oversaw and moderated at the company’s Governance, Risk and Compliance Regulatory Summits in London, Singapore and the US.
“We are delighted to welcome Kimberley to the Aravo team as we continue to rapidly expand our client base and drive global expansion,” said Mr. Saracini, CEO, Aravo Solutions. “Her governance, risk and compliance experience will complement the deep domain experience of our team and gives her an invaluable perspective on the challenges and opportunities our clients face in today’s highly regulated markets. Kimberley’s blend of creativity, strategic mindset and growth-orientated approach to marketing make her the ideal fit to help build Aravo’s voice, value proposition and market presence as we move into our next stage of international growth.”
“I am excited to be joining the team at Aravo Solutions,” said Ms. Allan. “There’s significant regulatory focus on third party risk and know-your-supplier compliance, and the complexity of large third party networks means that most GRC solutions on the market cannot scale to manage this. Aravo’s technology is proven to scale and they have assembled impressive domain expertise by working with companies with the most complex and globally dispersed supply chains in the world. The client list speaks for itself and includes many leaders from manufacturing, technology, consumer packaged goods, financial services and pharmaceutical verticals. The underlying technology platform also lends itself to supporting large-scale utility-type operations, which I predict will be another area of growth for the company.”
Aside from simplifying regulatory and operational onus for companies, there’s a greater purpose for the kind of solutions Aravo provides, Ms. Allan points out. “Governance risk and compliance professionals play a critical role in the fight against corruption and social injustice, and working for a company like Aravo that provides tools to help them combat these is deeply satisfying in this regard.”
Kimberley graduated from Massey University in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Arts, English; a Diploma Media Studies (Distinction), Media Studies; and a Master of Philosophy (1st Class Hons), Business Communications.
Aravo’s employees are dedicated to making the world more ethical by eliminating corporate corruption and social injustice. Aravo manages complex third-party Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) programs for the industry leaders in pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, financial services, consumer packaged goods, retail, aerospace & defense, technology, mining, automotive and manufacturing.
