Congratulations to CIPs Supply Management Award winners – Astellas

Last night the Aravo team attended the CIPs Supply Management Awards in London to celebrate the achievements of those in the procurement and supply chain industry.

Over 1000 procurement professionals gathered together at the prestigious Grosvenor House to celebrate the excellent work that has taken place in the industry over the last 12 months.

Respected as a benchmark for excellence, a CIPS Supply Management Award is the most prestigious recognition an organisation or individual in the procurement and supply chain profession can receive.

We’d like to congratulate all the nominated organisations and the winners. The Awards are a fantastic recognition of all the work you put in.

We’d also like to call out a special congratulations to our friends at Astellas who took away the Award for Risk Mitigation. You can read more about their award here for their “mySupplierRisk” programme.

A few highlights about their Award:

“MySupplierRisk was designed to be as simple as possible with few intuitive touchpoints. Most important was the level of automation – at every stage of the process Astellas looked to second guess the outcome of individual question/answer sets… Moreover, the programme has addressed nine risk domains across 23 affiliates in nine languages – in just 10 months.”

The Judges’ comments in bestowing the Award were:

“In this expansive project, Astellas ensured all bases were covered in managing supplier risk, as well as creating an ongoing focus on this in the company via the “mySupplierRisk” brand. They kept it simple to generate user adoption and commitment. Good to see 29% of the team was female too.”

Fantastic work and recognition for the Astellas team. Kudos to you!
