Tim Albinson, Chief Executive Officer

Tim Albinson

Mr. Albinson is the company's Founder, CEO, and chief visionary. With a technology background dating back to the early 1980s, he has held cross-functional positions in marketing, product strategy, and sales management. Prior to founding Aravo, he worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York and as an associate with Core-Capital Partners, a $350 million early-stage venture capital fund. He has also served as President of the Adelante Consulting Group, a professional services firm he founded to advise Global 2000 corporations and conservation groups on issues of sustainability and cause-related marketing.


Mr. Albinson has been an advocate for conservation and sustainability for over two decades, and has worked with organizations including World Wildlife Fund, The Nature Conservancy, American Forests and Fundacion Natura, Ecuador’s leading conservation group. In the early 1990s he helped formulate sustainability strategies for companies including Eddie Bauer and Timberland, and has written numerous articles on sustainability and environmental issues.


Mr. Albinson holds an MBA from the Haas School at the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a Walter A. Haas Scholar and served as Student Body President. He also holds a BA in English literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a member of the SF Bay Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization.


Outside of Aravo, he serves on numerous advisory boards, teaches entrepreneurship and startup finance at the University of California, Berkeley Extension, and works with the Painted Turtle Camp serving the needs of children with life-threatening diseases.

Brian Davidson, Chief Operating Officer

Brian Davidson

Mr. Davidson is responsible for helping set Aravo's strategy for overseeing all day-to-day software and service operations. Prior to Aravo, he served as Vice President, Global Trading Web (GTW) at Commerce One. Mr. Davidson joined Commerce One in 1997 and was a central figure in its development as a leading eProcurement and marketplace company. He was responsible for driving the growth of the GTW, the largest international B2B trading community of multinational companies. He also worked for more than 10 years at KPMG Peat Marwick, providing a broad range of system integration consulting expertise.


Mr. Davidson holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Kevin Cornish, Vice President, CTO

Kevin Cornish

Mr. Cornish champions Aravo’s forward-looking technology strategy, manage Aravo’s engineering team and refine the company’s SaaS-hosting strategy to enable worldwide enterprises to better manage complex, global supply chains. A senior IT professional with more than 20 years experience, Cornish has served as CIO, VP Global Supply Chain and in other key management and engineering positions for companies such as Monster Cable, Bechtel and DigitalThink. He has a wealth of experience in defining strategic direction and managing tactical execution of world-wide operations, with a proven track record helping high profile clients reduce costs and optimize processes in the supply chain. Cornish’s considerable and varied skills will help Aravo strengthen its traction with Global 1000 customers in a variety of industries including financial services, high tech, industrial manufacturing, retail and pharmaceutical.

Dan Dapper, Vice President, Sales

Dan Dapper

Mr. Dapper is responsible for Aravo’s global sales strategy, and for building and managing the company’s global sales team. Most recently Vice President and General Manager for the West and South Regions of North America for Ariba Corporation, Dapper has 27 years of sales and executive management experience within the software, engineering and high-tech industries. At Ariba, he directed a large sales team, developed an operational excellence program for forecasting and reporting, and was responsible for closing enterprise agreements for high profile global clients in the computer, oil and healthcare industries, among others. His experience in strategizing and executing sales, channel partner and business development activities will lead the company’s sales team to new levels of excellence and strengthen Aravo’s ability to move forward into new markets and new areas of the world.

Alan Abola, Vice President, Engineering

Alan Abola

Mr. Abola leads an experienced team of software engineers in the design and development of Aravo's innovative product architecture. He also oversees Quality Assurance, IT operations, and all custom technical development. Mr. Abola has both an engineering and a consulting background, having built complex software systems in a traditional engineering role as well as having led technical integration teams on enterprise software consulting engagements. Prior to joining Aravo, Mr. Abola held positions at WinMill Software and Trilogy. Mr. Abola holds a BA in Computer Science from Harvard University.

Jon Bovit, Vice President, Strategy

Jon Bovit

Mr. Bovit is responsible for expanding Aravo's opportunities and fuel the growth trajectory for the already expanding organization. His role includes overall business strategy, including product and sales strategy, organizational leadership, operational execution and aligning the company’s strategy with the constantly evolving marketplace.


Prior to joining Aravo, Jon was Director, Platform Sales at Salesforce.com where he led sales efforts focused on selling on-demand SaaS solutions to CIO/Sr. IT executives. Preceding Salesforce.com, he was the Managing Director at Ariba, Inc. in charge of selling Supplier Connectivity solutions in North America. Under his leadership at Ariba, Ariba Supplier Connectivity became one of Ariba’s fastest growing solution areas. Prior to joining Ariba, Jon was a technical team leader with Oracle Corporation. He has a BS in Business Administration from Monmouth College, an MS in Information Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology and is a doctoral candidate in Technology Management also from the Stevens Institute of Technology.

Che Mott, Vice President, Supply Chain Development

Che Mott

Mr. Mott leads supply chain development efforts with Aravo customers. He has designed solutions for companies in a range of industries, including Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, High Tech, Financial Services and Defense. Prior to Aravo, Mr. Mott served at IBM’s eCommerce division. In the early 1990's he was the International Programs Officer at an NGO in Central Asia and then joined Price Waterhouse, LLC conducting industry reform and micro-lending in Central and Eastern Europe and Southern Africa. After transferring to PW's technology group in 1995, he spent several years on transformation and technology projects, mainly implementing large scale ERP systems.


Che is fluent in Russian, and conversational in Mandarin, Uzbek and basic Dutch. He chairs the Professionals for Responsible Supply Chain Management council, an affiliate of Net Impact, and sits on the UN/Silicon Valley RiOS advisory board. Mr. Mott holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Sig Lackner, Vice President of Global Services

Sig Lackner

Mr. Lackner has nearly 20 years of experience leading services teams focused on delivering business solutions with a strong emphasis on account management, including direct sales management responsibilities. Before joining Aravo, he served in senior services executive roles at IBM, Oracle, Alphablox, and Nextance. Prior to that, he managed a regional professional services team at IRI software, a team of application developers at Sun Microsystems, and large corporate client engagements at KPMG. Throughout his career, Lackner has demonstrated success in positioning professional services in product companies synergistically with sales to improve customer acquisition and retention, and successfully manage the entire post sale process. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Business and Finance.
