Tim Albinson

Tim Albinson, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Albinson is the company's Founder, CEO, and chief visionary. With a technology background dating back to the early 1980s, he has held cross-functional positions in marketing, product strategy, and sales management. Prior to founding Aravo, he worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York and as an associate with Core-Capital Partners, a $350 million early-stage venture capital fund. He has also served as President of the Adelante Consulting Group, a professional services firm he founded to advise Global 2000 corporations and conservation groups on issues of sustainability and cause-related marketing.


Mr. Albinson has been an advocate for conservation and sustainability for over two decades, and has worked with organizations including World Wildlife Fund, The Nature Conservancy, American Forests and Fundacion Natura, Ecuador’s leading conservation group. In the early 1990s he helped formulate sustainability strategies for companies including Eddie Bauer and Timberland, and has written numerous articles on sustainability and environmental issues.


Mr. Albinson holds an MBA from the Haas School at the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a Walter A. Haas Scholar and served as Student Body President. He also holds a BA in English literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a member of the SF Bay Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization.


Outside of Aravo, he serves on numerous advisory boards, teaches entrepreneurship and startup finance at the University of California, Berkeley Extension, and works with the Painted Turtle Camp serving the needs of children with life-threatening diseases.

Brian Davidson

Brian Davidson, Chief Administrative Officer

Mr. Davidson is responsible for overseeing the financial, human resources and legal functions of the company. He also serves as a member of Aravo's Board of Directors. Prior to Aravo, he served as Vice President, Global Trading Web (GTW) at Commerce One. Mr. Davidson joined Commerce One in 1997 and was a central figure in its development as a leading eProcurement and marketplace company. He was responsible for driving the growth of the GTW, the largest international B2B trading community of multinational companies. He also worked for more than 10 years at KPMG Peat Marwick, providing a broad range of system integration consulting expertise.


Mr. Davidson holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Michael Saracini

Michael Saracini, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Saracini oversees the company's strategy, planning and execution, maintaining global P&L responsibility for product strategy, engineering, marketing, sales, channels, alliances, professional services, hosting operations and customer support. He has more than 20 years of sales, operations and executive leadership experience building profitable, high growth information technology companies.


Most recently Mr. Saracini served as Vice President, International for SumTotal Systems, a software-as-a-service HCM leader, delivering talent management solutions. As a member of the executive staff, he was responsible for driving global expansion outside the United States in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Japan, contributing to public company revenues in excess of $100 million. Prior, Mr. Saracini served as Vice President & General Manager, Americas for RightNow Technologies, a software-as-a-service CRM leader delivering customer experience management solutions, contributing to public company revenues in excess of $140 million. Earlier, Mr. Saracini served in a number of senior leadership positions with Siebel Systems, Computer Associates, AT&T Capital and GRID Systems.


Mr. Saracini attended the University of Texas at Dallas studying Business Administration and Finance and continued with executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Southern Methodist University.

Kevin Cornish

Kevin Cornish, Vice President, CTO

Mr. Cornish champions Aravo’s forward-looking technology strategy, manages Aravo’s engineering team and refines the company’s SaaS-hosting strategy to enable worldwide enterprises to better manage complex, global supply chains. A senior IT professional with more than 20 years experience, Cornish has served as CIO, VP Global Supply Chain and in other key management and engineering positions for companies such as Monster Cable, Bechtel and DigitalThink. He has a wealth of experience in defining strategic direction and managing tactical execution of world-wide operations, with a proven track record helping high profile clients reduce costs and optimize processes in the supply chain. Cornish’s considerable and varied skills will help Aravo strengthen its traction with Global 1000 customers in a variety of industries including financial services, high tech, industrial manufacturing, retail and pharmaceutical. Kevin graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor's degree in Human Information Processing.

Sig Lackner

Sig Lackner, Vice President of Global Services

Mr. Lackner has nearly 20 years of experience leading services teams focused on delivering business solutions with a strong emphasis on account management, including direct sales management responsibilities. Before joining Aravo, he served in senior services executive roles at IBM, Oracle, Alphablox, and Nextance. Prior to that, he managed a regional professional services team at IRI software, a team of application developers at Sun Microsystems, and large corporate client engagements at KPMG. Throughout his career, Lackner has demonstrated success in positioning professional services in product companies synergistically with sales to improve customer acquisition and retention, and successfully manage the entire post sale process. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Business and Finance.

Doug Markle

Douglas Markle, Vice President of Global Sales

Mr. Markle is responsible for helping set Aravo's go-to-market strategy and overseeing sales operations. Prior to joining Aravo, he served as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, at CVM Solutions. Mr. Markle joined CVM Solutions in 2006 and was central to its evolution into a leading supplier management company. Mr. Markle has been regularly identified as a Supply and Demand Chain Executive "Pro to Know" and has held sales leadership positions within the industry with companies such as CGI, Silver Oak Solutions, True Source, MedPlus, Insight Consulting and Cincom Systems. Throughout his career, Mr. Markle has demonstrated success in driving growth within software companies.


Mr. Markle attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for Architecture and Purdue University's Krannert School of Management for Industrial Management.

Robert Shecterle

Robert Shecterle, Vice President of Marketing

Mr. Shecterle is charged with driving Aravo's overall marketing strategies and execution. He brings over 25 years of enterprise marketing and solution management experience in supply chain solutions across industries.


Most recently, Mr. Shecterle served as Vice President, Marketing & Product Management at InfoNow, a channel performance optimization leader, advancing the company's overall strategy, marketing, and product design. Prior, Shecterle managed research practices at the Aberdeen Group for Supply Chain Management, Global Supply Management, Retail, and Sustainability, providing global market insight and analysis. He has also held executive roles in strategy, marketing, and product management at software companies such as Ariba, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Platform Computing, Indus International, and SSA, helping drive rapid revenue growth and new market expansion. Mr. Shecterle began his career in management consulting, principally at Ernst & Young, helping clients solve business process issues through the use of technology. He has been on the board of directors of the Supply Chain Council, and was named a "Pro to Know" by Supply and Demand Chain Executive Magazine.


Mr. Shecterle holds a BA in Business from Loyola University, Chicago.
