Tim Albinson, Chief Executive Officer, Aravo Solutions
Mr. Albinson is the company's founder, CEO, and chief visionary. With a technology background dating back to the early 1980s, he has held cross-functional positions in marketing, product development, and sales management. Prior to founding Aravo, he worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York and as an associate with Core Capital Partners, a $370 million early-stage venture capital fund. Previously, he was founder and president of the Adelante Consulting Group, a professional services firm focused on the international NGO market and based in Washington, DC.
Mr. Albinson holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a Walter A. Haas Scholar, and a bachelor of arts in English literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Outside of Aravo, he serves on numerous advisory boards, teaches entrepreneurship and startup finance at the University of California, Berkeley Extension, and works with the World Wildlife Fund on environmental conservation initiatives.
Peggy Taylor, Former EVP-Corporate Operations, PeopleSoft
Ms. Peggy Taylor is currently the President of PeopleSoft Investments, Inc. Previously, Ms. Taylor founded VentureBuilders LLC, a startup consulting company and has served as EVP, Global Operations for PeopleSoft, where she was a part of the founding management team. While at PeopleSoft, she managed all corporate operations, including product development, customer services, professional services, administration.
Ms. Taylor graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lone Mountain College, in San Francisco, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and Psychology.
Fredric Steck, Advisory Director, Goldman Sachs, & Co.
Mr. Fredric Steck was elected a partner at Goldman Sachs in 1994 and a managing director in 1996. He served as head of the western region for the Fixed Income Division in San Francisco and as head of sales for the US Fixed Income Currency and Commodity Division in New York. Since retiring from Goldman Sachs in 2004, Mr. Steck has become a very active private investor with interest in entrepreneurship, education and the environment. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Diversified Natural Products, Inc. a bio-technology company based in New York. He is a member of the global advisory board for Endeavor, an international non-profit organization supporting entrepreneurial development in emerging markets. He also serves on the National Council for the World Wildlife Fund and is a Trustee and Vice-Chair of the University of California at Santa Barbara Foundation.
Brian Davidson, Chief Administrative Officer, Aravo Solutions
Mr. Davidson is responsible for overseeing the financial, human resources and legal functions of the company. Prior to Aravo, he served as vice president, global trading web (GTW) at Commerce One. Mr. Davidson joined Commerce One in 1997 and was a central figure in its development as a leading eProcurement and marketplace company. He was responsible for driving the growth of the GTW, the largest international B2B trading community of multinational companies. He also worked for more than 10 years at KPMG Peat Marwick, providing a broad range of system integration consulting expertise.
Mr. Davidson holds a master's degree in public policy and a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
